President & CEO
Sumaria Systems was founded in 1982, by its President & CEO, Veni Sumaria, along with his wife, Debbie Sumaria. Since that time, Veni and Debbie Sumaria have turned Sumaria Systems into a multimillion dollar company due to their focus on quality work and customer satisfaction.
Sumaria Systems initally began as a consulting enterprise. From 1987 to 1996, the company's growth was due in large part to approximately $120 million in 8(a) contracts, which provided a stable growth platform for the future.
The 8(a) program allowed us to diversify our services, to gain our customers' respect, and to successfully leverage our initial consulting work into additional long-term 8(a) contracts through to our graduation of the 8(a) program in 1996. The final 8(a) contracts we won provided continuity for three to five years while we pursued and won larger efforts.
Since 1996, Sumaria's growth is the result of successfully partnering with other companies both large and small, and hiring "can do" people in both management and technical positions who put the customers' needs first to ensure customer satisfaction. To this day, Sumaria Systems receives exceptional CPAR ratings from our Government customers.
