Sumaria awarded three delivery orders in support of the 309th Software Maintenance Group (SMXG) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah

OGDEN, Utah - Defense contractor Sumaria Systems, Inc. has been awarded three new task orders at Hill Air Force Base (AFB) on the 309th SMXG Software Maintenance Group ID/IQ contract.

The first provides AS9100 transition support, which will allow the SMXG to transition their CMM® Level 5 processes and procedures to AS9100, which is the aerospace equivalent of ISO 9001. The second involves Common Aircraft Portable Reprogramming Equipment (CAPRE) support to the Program Office and the Weapons Systems Division. The third provides engineering and computer science services for the Mission Planning & Systems Integration Division. These engineering and computer science services support the design, development and testing of embedded software and hardware for various mission planning systems, and ensure compatibility with current and future hardware.

"We are extremely pleased that Sumaria has been chosen for these three efforts, and look forward to assisting the SMXG in meeting their technical, process and administrative goals," stated, John Berry, Ogden Site Manager, Sumaria Systems.

The SMXG employs approximately 600 scientists and engineers that are dedicated to providing warfighters with the best products and services possible. The SMXG is part of the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC) located at Hill AFB, Utah.
