Sumaria Systems awarded contract for METWEB Certification & Accreditation in support of the 562d CBSG’s AFMETCAL Program

DAYTON, Ohio - Sumaria Systems, Inc., provider of information, technology, engineering and professional services and solutions, has been awarded the contract for METWEB Certification & Accreditation (C&A) in support of the 562d Combat Sustainment Group’s (562d CBSG’s) Air Force Metrology & Calibration (AFMETCAL) Program.

"Sumaria is very pleased to support this important C&A function for the 562d CBSG’s METWEB effort, and is experienced in federal C&A compliance regulations," stated Al Weimer, Sumaria Systems Program Manager, Dayton Regional Operations Center.

Under this contract, Sumaria will provide C&A technical assistance, analysis and consultation to the 562d CBSG and complete a METWEB C&A package compliant with federal regulations, the new Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification & Accreditation Process (DIACAP), and Air Force guidance to DIACAP.

The 562d CBSG serves as the Air Force technical authority on metrology issues and is the Air Force single point of contact for calibration services and traceability of measurements to the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST). The 562d CBSG is located in Heath, Ohio.
