Sumaria Systems awarded Training Aircraft Systems Group (TASG) Configuration Data Management Support Task Order under CAPS ID/IQ Contract
DAYTON, Ohio - Sumaria Systems, Inc., provider of technology and professional services, has been awarded a Consolidated Acquisition of Professional Services Program (CAPS) task order to provide configuration data management support to the Training Aircraft Systems Group (TASG) in support of the Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB).
"Sumaria has significant configuration, data, engineering data management, and Deficiency Reporting (DR) experience in the Government acquisition environment; and we look forward to supporting TASG in this critical function," stated Don Kurtz, VP of Sumaria’s Dayton Regional Operations.
Under this task order, Sumaria, and its subcontractor, MTC Technologies, will perform configuration and data management tasks related to the development, production and support of various weapon systems and equipment items acquired by the TASG. Functions include Configuration Management (CM), Data Management (DM), Engineering Data Management (EDM), and Deficiency Reporting (DR) for both hardware and software. The task’s base period is approximately $500K, with the base and four options years valued at approximately $2.6M.
The ASC designs, develops and delivers dominant aerospace weapon systems and capabilities for our Air Force, Joint Service, Allied and Coalition Partner warfighters; and manages more than 70 major programs.
Sumaria Systems won its CAPS ID/IQ contract in May 2006, and the company’s CAPS-related efforts are run out of Sumaria’s Dayton Regional Operations Center based in Fairborn, Ohio.
