Sumaria Systems is awarded CAPS ID/IQ contract to support the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright-Patterson AFB

DAYTON, Ohio - Sumaria Systems, Inc., provider of technology and professional services, has been awarded a Consolidated Acquisition of Professional Services Program (CAPS) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) prime contract to support the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB) in Ohio and select WPAFB organizations.

"Sumaria has supported the Aeronautical and the Electronics Systems Centers (ASC & ESC) at Wright-Patterson for more than ten years, and we are very pleased to be selected to continue to provide the Air Force with technical and management expertise in support of aircraft systems acquisition and weapons systems integration," stated Don Kurtz, Vice President of Sumaria’s Dayton Operations.

The ASC designs, develops and delivers dominant aerospace weapon systems and capabilities for our Air Force, Joint Service, Allied and Coalition Partner warfighters; and manages more than 70 major programs.

Under this contract, Sumaria will lead its team, comprised of Camber Corporation; ITB, Inc.; Jacobs Sverdrup; Karta Technologies, Inc.; and MTC Technologies, Inc., in competing for task orders in 17 Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) areas, including contractor management, acquisition management, test and evaluation, configuration and data management, acquisition logistics, and subject matter expertise. Sumaria’s CAPS contract has a potential maximum ceiling of $500 million and an ordering period of five years from the date of award.

Sumaria’s CAPS effort will be run out of the company’s Dayton Operations location based in Fairborn, Ohio.
