Sumaria Systems awarded HQ OSSG/FM Financial Management & Support Services Contract at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Ala.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Sumaria Systems, Inc. has been awarded the Financial Management & Support Services Contract from the Headquarters Operations & Sustainment Systems Group’s Financial Management Office (HQ OSSG/FM) at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Ala.

Sumaria will provide non-personal advisory and assistance financial management support services to the HQ OSSG/FM’s Financial Management Directorate. This effort will provide support to the Comptroller Support Division, which includes Systems Program Offices (SPOs) and Staff Directorates located at HQ OSSG.

"Sumaria has been providing financial management support to the HQ OSSG for almost a decade, and is very pleased to be re-selected to support their mission in the financial services arena," stated Harry Hewitt, Vice President for Sumaria’s Montgomery Operations.

The HQ OSSG/FM’s mission is to provide reliable financial management and information to its program managers and corporate leadership for making informed business decisions. The HQ OSSG is responsible for the acquisition, development and sustainment of secure combat support information systems, and provides data processing and communications computer systems and capabilities to major commands and Air Force bases (AFBs) around the world.

The contract was awarded on January 31, 2006 with a ceiling of approximately $1.75 million for all periods of performance.

About HQ OSSG
The OSSG’s mission is to provide and support secure combat support information systems and networks for the Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD) components.
