Sumaria Systems, Inc. achieves Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status

DANVERS, Mass. - Sumaria Systems, Inc., provider of technology and professional services, became a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner this February by meeting specific criteria in a variety of categories, including Microsoft Certified Professional certifications, Microsoft Competencies and customer satisfaction.

The worldwide Microsoft Partner Program allows customers to identify technology companies that use Microsoft software for building and distributing software or hardware solutions or as the building blocks for value-added services. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive many of the same resources and tools that Microsoft's own technical managers and developers have access to, which allows for extended market reach, reduced operating costs, and the capability to deliver innovative solutions.

"We are extremely pleased to have achieved this milestone at Sumaria," stated Venilal Sumaria, President & CEO, Sumaria Systems, Inc., "and we look forward to leveraging our Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status to enhance the technical offerings we provide our customers and to provide enhanced customer satisfaction in our defined business sectors."

The Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Program also provides customers with a way of identifying companies that have a proven commitment and expertise in one or more specialized areas when delivering Microsoft technologies. Microsoft Competencies define a company’s skill set and proven capabilities in a specific technical area regardless of what market segments are served. Gold Certified Partners demonstrate a high degree of competence in working with these technologies, and are required to qualify for at least one Microsoft Competency. Sumaria has met requirements for two Microsoft Competencies: Advanced Infrastructure Solutions and Network Infrastructure Solutions.

"We have been a Microsoft Certified Partner since June 2005," stated Joe Alt, Vice President of Business Development, "and Sumaria’s evolution to a Gold Certified Partner coupled with Microsoft’s independent verification of our Competencies will continue to enhance our market position as a leading provider of complex solutions."

As of Sumaria’s achievement of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status, there were 75,502 Microsoft Certified Partners, but only 1,840 Microsoft Gold Certified Partners in the U.S.
