Sumaria Systems awarded PASS ID/IQ contract to support the Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom Air Force Base

DANVERS, Mass. - Sumaria Systems, Inc., provider of information, technology, engineering and professional services and solutions, has been awarded a Professional Acquisition Support Services (PASS) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) prime contract to support the Electronic Systems Center (ESC) at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB) in Bedford, Mass., and select ESC operating locations, including Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio, Maxwell AFB/Gunter-Annex in Alabama, Lackland and Randolph AFBs in Texas, and Peterson AFB in Colorado.

"Sumaria has supported the ESC at Hanscom for more than 20 years, and we are very pleased to be selected to compete under this ID/IQ," stated Dave Mahoney, Business Development Director, Sumaria Systems.

The ESC provides the latest in command and control and information systems for the Air Force, the Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. allies, and currently manages approximately 200 programs with an annual budget of more than $3 billion.

Under this contract, Sumaria will lead its team, comprised of 21 subcontractors, including Accenture, AEC, Bellwether Research, Blackhawk Management, Camber, Capgemini, Cluster Software, CMW & Associates, Diligent Consulting, EADS, EM&I, Intecon, Lighthouse Technologies, MTI, Quantrum, RSIS, SRS Technologies, Strategic Analysis, Symvionics, Syneren Technologies, and Unisys in competing for more than 20 task orders in four Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) areas: Acquisition Support, Financial Management, Contracting, and Administration and Human Resources. Sumaria’s PASS contract has a potential maximum ceiling of $800 million and an ordering period of five years from the date of award.

Sumaria’s PASS effort will be run out of the company’s corporate headquarters in Danvers, Mass.
