Sumaria Systems awarded A&AS Task Order for the F-16 Program Management Division of the 312 Aeronautical Systems Group

DAYTON, Ohio - Sumaria Systems, Inc., provider of information, technology, engineering and professional services and solutions, has been awarded an Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) task order under the Consolidated Acquisition of Professional Services Program (CAPS) contract to assist the F-16 Program Management Division, 312 Aeronautical Systems Group (AESG), Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

"Sumaria has supported ASC at Wright-Paterson for more than ten (10) years. We currently provide functional support to ASC in multiple disciplines and look forward to serving as an integral member of the F-16 Program Management Division and the 312 AESG," stated Don Kurtz, VP of Sumaria’s Dayton Regional Operations.

Under this task order, Sumaria is providing a diverse range of acquisition logistics, engineering, configuration and data management, administrative support, acquisition management, test and evaluation, government furnished property management and Subject Matter Expert (SME) expertise required in planning/pre-acquisition, acquisition, development, production and sustainment of various equipment and weapon systems.

The ASC designs, develops and delivers dominant aerospace weapon systems and capabilities for the U.S. Air Force, other U.S. military, and allied and coalition-partner warfighters; manages 420 Air Force, joint and international aircraft acquisition programs and related projects; executes an annual budget of $19 billion; and employs a work force of more than 11,000 people located at the base and 38 other locations worldwide.

Sumaria Systems won its CAPS ID/IQ contract in May 2006, and the company’s CAPS-related efforts are run out of Sumaria’s Dayton Regional Operations Center based in Fairborn, Ohio.
