Defense Contractor Sumaria Systems, Inc. Earns ISO 8000-110:2008 Certification
ISO 8000-110:2008 Master Data Quality Management Certificate
St. Louis, Mo. - Sumaria Systems’ St. Louis office, located in O’Fallon, Ill., received its ISO 8000-110:2008 Master Data Quality Management certification this fall, one of approximately two dozen such organizational certifications currently held world-wide. Sumaria was certified by the Electronic Commerce Code Management Association (ECCMA).

The ECCMA, formed in April 1999, is a new breed of standards organization focused on satisfying the needs of electronic commerce by developing and promoting International Standards for Master Data Quality. The ECCMA provides data management experts from around the world the ability to work together in the Internet environment to build and maintain global, open standard dictionaries that are used to unambiguously label information. These label dictionaries allow information to be passed from one computer system to another without losing meaning.
