Sumaria Systems sponsors the NSCC Military Affairs Council Quarterly Sustaining Member Breakfast and hosts guest speaker October 14
DANVERS, Mass. - Sumaria Systems, Inc., provider of information technology, engineering and professional services and solutions, will be sponsoring the North Suburban Chamber of Commerce (NSCC) Military Affairs Council (MAC) Quarterly Sustaining Member Breakfast on October 14, 2009, at the Doubletree Hotel, Bedford, Mass.
The NSCC MAC was established in the mid-1980’s and in the nearly 20 years of its existence, the MAC has dedicated significant resources towards interaction between the business community and Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB), as well as towards enhancing the mission of HAFB’s Electronic Systems Center (ESC), a $3+ billion per year engineering, contracting and procurement Center of Excellence for the Air Force.
Sumaria will be hosting Mr. Mike Corrigan, Senior Information Strategist in the Office of the Chief, Warfighting Integration/Chief Information Officer of the U.S. Air Force, as a guest speaker at this event. His topic is The Application of Semantic Technologies within the Proposed Air Force SMI-ELS Architecture, and his presentation will focus on the implementation of information management through an asset management approach. In addition, the HAFB speaker will be Dr. Scott Renner, MITRE Corporation, Principal Information System Engineer, whose topic is ESC Application of DoD and AF Data Strategy.
The NSCC MAC is dedicated to fostering and preserving the crucial relationship between business, local communities and the HAFB community.
